Last weekend’s pro pickleball tournament in Lakeville featured an amateur tournament as well. Our own Derek Gregorich and his partner won the men’s 3.5 division by winning the gold medal match 11-9 and 11 – 9. Well Done!!!
In other news, we had 370 players sign in during the month of February. Given the average play time is just over 2 hours, we logged over 740 hours in the gym last month. No wonder I am seeing our level of play improving. Better shot selection and longer rallies are commonplace now.
Our ball machine continues to facilitate player development as well. Several of you have taken advantage of the opportunity to refine your skills and improve your conditioning. While you can’t beat the machine, its sure fun to try.
